Have crossed "Bass"s creek" about 12 times, maybe 15, I need the extra fuel so I can cross fast,in a smaller weather window.

My additional auxillary tanks are a typical outboard engine tank that you use for your tender. It either has a guage or is transparent so you can manage your fuel. Your diesel boat engine is more fuel efficioent than a 20 hp outboard used for your tender. You dont run out of fuel on your tender. Managing the boat auxillary tanks is no different. Installing second auxillary tanks in my engine room is one of he best mods I ever did to my boat and makes particular sense on a cat.

Hard to get 600l in outboard tanks!! and find somewhere to put them.
