Beta BZ482 2cyl diesel Engine revs all the way up and doesn't cut off

Everything installed successfully and engine started. A bit of bleeding and now i have the engine back to the normal. I have gained bit more experience with the engine, as it was the first time removing a cover and see whats inside. Thanks for the help, i should have probably not mess with the injection pump at the beginning but still wasn't all that bad.

Great that you got it fixed anyway. So do you think the problem was the stuck fork lever?

Something to do with the what controls the fuel output, which in return caused the engine run out of control and overrun. Governor spring didnot felt like stretched out of spects. The fork was the culprit most likely. It wasn't a pro level fix when you know exactly what you are doing but at the end i have a running engine and i am a happy camper.

Yep that's the bottom line. You have gained some valuable knowledge that will help you in the future & you may well have spent the same money calling a mechanic in. + you have a spare injector pump .Enjoyed the thread thanks
