Bleeding Yanmar3gm30f

There are two nuts on the house to the secondary filter. I use the one with the cross to bleed air out of the system.

What is the other nut for ?

To fit a hose nipple into if you want to run the injector return tube (AKA leak-off line) into the secondary filter.

I suppose you know not to over-tighten bleed screw - the filter housing strips easily. Most use a nylon washer instead on a copper one to seal this screw so it doesn't need so much torque to seal.

I have - it worked but I don't know if I was just lucky.
