Bukh 20

Two years ago on the body of our Bukh 20 (30 years old) exactly near the pipes of the injection pump appeared a hole of 3mm diameter and all the cooling liquid flowed out. After cleaning and drying we put epoxy and continue to use the engine without any problems. We have no manual and don,t know where the cooling channels are. Why did this happen? Help me to understand
this. Where can I find a diagram of the cooling channels of the Bukh20?
