cooling water hose size on 2GM???

Hi folks,

I looked, but didn't see the hose sizes in the on-line manual!

Anyone know the size off hand? Mine is raw water cooled, but I am looking for the ID size of the hose coming from the block / thermostat, going to the exhaust (or heat exchanger, on fresh water models).

I need to replace the hose as it goes to my Force 10 water heater. The force 10 manual says their fitting is 5/8" hose barb. I ahd it hooked up last year, but had a hard time fitting the hose on the 5/8" water heater fitting. If I knew the proper engienm hose size, I will know if I need a reducer, etc.

Thanks in advance!!

R.Emm- thanks for the reply!!

I was thinking it might only be 1/2" ID, as it is extremely hard to fit over the 5/8" hose barb on the water heater. If it were 3/4", it should go on easily, I would think.. However, the actual hose barb on the Force 10 heater inlet is quite a bit larger than the real diameter of the fitting.

If someone with a 2GM, 2GmF, or 2GM20 could confirm the size, I would appreciate it, as the 3GM may have a larger pump, and hose, based on the larger size, need for more cooling..
