Talking Cummins Marine Engines

Any comments on Cummins units ? Another FC Hull type bruhaha would suit my purposes just fine ... Jeff & whoever wants to try to take him. lol

Cummins make a very good product that is very simple and reliable ( exculding the new computer controled as they are not simple but are reliable and ecconomical to run). Even in remote areas (E.G.East Timor) parts are easy to source.

They stink!

Literally. The poop around the gold-chained powerboaters is that Cummins engines have a particularly unpleasant diesel exhaust smell. Don't know why, but lots of guys won't touch them for that reason.
