D2-40 common problems/spare parts

Hi all!

I'm planning a 1 year cruise next year with my Elan 384 Impression, and it's so far reliable D2-40B engine.
In preparation for this I need to stock up on some spare parts, and manuals, and it would be great to get some advice on this.
The engine is a 2008-model, but has only done around 280hrs, as the previous owner hardly used the boat at all. We got the boat last spring.

So, spare parts first. I'll bring the usual like filters, liquids, impellers and drive belts, but is there any component on this engine prone to failing that would be handy to have on board?

Any common problems with this engine I need to look out for?

Since it has the EVC system, is it possible to bypass the black box and start the engine if it fails, by connecting power straight to the starter motor?

And if anybody can point me in the right direction of a D1/D2 Workshop manual Group 30 (Electrics), that would be awesome, have looked forever!

A lot of request for a third post, but hopefully I can contribute more in the future

Sincerely, Morten
