Dahl 100-MMV Dual Filters

Does anyone have any experience with the Dahl fuel filters? They are quite a bit less than the Racor it seems but I am looking for feedback from people who have used them.

I haven't used the Dahl filters but if you're looking for a lower priced alternative to the Racor setups, I would suggest you check out Griffin Filters.

These ones look pretty good.

I believe we paid around 600 for the gtb228dm (without the bowls). Pleased so far. Filter is interchangeable with the racor.

These work well but are a pain to service. You can service the Racor in a few minutes instead of an hour for these. They are fairly easy to do in the workshop but with limited access in an engine compartment when you need 3 hands to reassemble they can be a headache.

I have Dahl filter water separators on my Hinos I change elements @ 120 hours. Racor may be a little easier but IMHO not worth the upgrade cost. I can easily change with 2 hands & no tools. I think elements for racors are cheaper if that is a consideration & adding a vacuum gauge is easy to do.
