Detroit diesels 671TI's Performance. Any information?

Hi does anyone out there have any revs/ performance/ fuel consumption figures for the DETROIT DEISEL 671 TI. I am about to attempt a 1000 mile trip from one end of the Mediterranean to the other and I'm trying to calculate what my fuel requirement will be (and the small fortune it will cost).
I have my own figures but would appreciate anyone else's experience for comparison.

You may be able to find the manufacturer's performance curves on line somewhere, and if so one of the curves would give you nominal GPH at various RPMs.

Your own numbers will be more accurate than any others.

Lets suppose you have a 50' planing hull. Your percent of load at a given speed will be greatly different than a full displacement hull at the same speed.

I get much better mileage from my 8/71 by slowing down to 5 knts. Buy fuel from commercial vessels at sea for cash. Travel along the North African coast, Tunisia has its own oil wells.
