Diagnosing Tachometer on Yanmar
We have a Yanmar with 80A alternator and the analog tachometer (2012 year) on a Lagoon 450. Both tachometers stopped working. When switching on the needle briefly twitches, but no RPMs.

Any recommendation on how to trace the cause?

Sitting in Tonga ready to go to NZ in a few days.
