Diesel Repair/Maintenace classes in Connecticut

Does anyone have any leads on a community college or tech school quick course on the basics of diesel repair/maintenance somewhere in Connecticut or Western Mass? Preferably one with some hands on? I dont really want to pay for a full Lincoln Tech or similar diesel mechanics training. I think that is overkill for the cruiser, but I would like to have a little hands on before setting off.

Any suggestions appreciated. (And I read the Diesel Study Hall sticky- It's handy but I'm looking for hands on.

Check out Mack Boring. I took a class in MA, was incredible! Not cheap, but worth the price!
