Anybody know anything about these guys?

RE-E-POWER E-Pod Motors

Looks like a neat idea, especially if you have to re-power. I did a search of the forum but couldn't find anything.

Yeah, if you go to their website, there's a link to a guy in Port credit who repowered his 28-footer... he sez he had a few problems making contact.

Interstingly, from the pictures, it looks as if the device is mounted 'backwards' -- with the prop in front of the unit and pulling the boat when in forward. Don't see why it wouldn't work, but it looks funny
