That is what is supposed to happen. It means you have as yet no oil pressure.

I still think the answer is the manual in the link.

I think its an overly complex engine control panel with built in onboard diagnostics. Not to say it's bad, but longer learning curve.
A built in OBD like listed it the linked manual sounds well magical.
Would just be a lot to take in all at once with no exposure. They mentioned being not tech or mechanically savvy.

Never responded to control panel model question to confirm.
