Farymann Diesel Impeller HELP!!!

We have a 2cylinder Farymann Marine Diesel R30M that was probably built in the late 70's early 80's. We are having trouble finding the correect impellers for our pump. We have been told it is a Jabsco 2620 pump but no where is this brand written on the pump - only a number (1R1204), but this is difficult to make out. The previous impellers look like they had been modified. The dimensions are: 2" diameter, 3/4" width, and 1/2" shaft with a keyway drive. ANY HELP would be so appreciated as we haven't been able to move our boat all season!!
Thanks!

Contact Depco Pump Co in Florida. Depco Pump Company
They are pump specialists and should have the correct listing and parts for you.

Re: Farymann Diesel Impeller HELP!!!

Thank you for your help. Our pump seems to be somewhat unique. It does not resemble the photos. It has two inlets and two outlets. It requires two impellers.

We have had to bore out the shaft to allow a through shaft fitting rather than a keyway. Also had to sand down the impeller because we could not find the right diameter for the impellers.

Wish us luck! We are hopefully sailing this week!

Re: Farymann Diesel Impeller HELP!!!

Why not pull the pump off, and find another pump with the correct drive shaft. Bolt it in place (maybe some slight modifying) and rest easy knowing you've now got a normal pump and not one that takes two impellers.

Thank you for the suggestion. We are all set with it now. That will definitely be our next move. It is a more expensive one, so we will see how this goes first!

Farymann Diesel Impeller HELP!!!

Has your engine been converted to fresh water cooling?
Scroll down this page and see what entech does for some small Faryman engines. It's a stacked Johnson pump, one circulates coolant the other seawater.

Re: Farymann Diesel Impeller HELP!!!

Again, thank you. Ours is a fresh water intake and there is no coolant system. Your ideas are helpful.

Seneca can you take some photos of your pump setup? It might make it easier to identify.
