ford-PSA XD90

Help!!! I have a Ford Lehman Marinised Peugeot engine and i'm or i should say the injector technician is having trouble getting the injector pump to idle at the correct speed and says we need a :"distributer head" for it. the engine # is ford-PSA XD90. Injecter Pump # is CAV-Rota master model #3442F490 and the distributer head is described as : XHyd - head #9002-031.
Love to hear from anyone that can point me in the right direction or knows where i might find one of these Ford- Peugeot engines or injector pumps. they were very common from 1972 through to 1980 for boats so im hoping there may be one around somwhere..

thanks gordmay. ill follow up your suggestions and see what i come up with.Looks like "realtime posted that info in 2011 but ill still make contact, who knows maybe its still around. I was hopeing to find injector parts,It would be nice to upgrade the lot but i think being in Aus.will put that idea out of reach because of shipping costs. Still its worth a call. thanks .

Re: ford-PSA XD90

Is the tech running the pump on his workshop test rig or is this in the boat. The reason I ask is because there are a few reasons why an engine fitted with a CAV Dpa pump might not idle well and the hydraulic head isn’t high on that list. I’m surprised that he’s having trouble locating the new rotor, as an injection tech he’d have a fast track with parts suppliers.
Pete.
