Fuel Active - unique approach for clean fuel

I'm curious what people thing of this approach to clean fuel - https://fuelactive.com/sectors/marine/

It's a clever idea, and appears to have been used extensively in the construction and mining sectors.

I like the idea, but you're stuck with crud in the tank so you'll still need to polish at times.

Re: Fuel Active - unique approach for clean fuel

For anyone who has not watched the video, it's a floating fuel pickup, taking the cleaner fuel from the top of the tank rather than the crud at the bottom.

Most of us, I think, run primary and secondary filters on our diesel fuel. Properly sized and not overwhelmed by someone pouring mud into the tank, that both achieves what this does and collects the crud for disposal. Therefore I'm not seeing a very large incremental advantage to investing in it. That's not a "hell no," it's just a "would it be worth it?"
