Fuel injecters

I have an yanmar 2qm20 and am about to replace one of the fuel injection nozzles.
Any advice would be appreciated

It's easy to replace nozzle.You need to be scrupulously clean though. Clean any preserving stuff off new nozzle. There is a video on youtube re yanmar injectors. You should get it pop-tested after you fit new nozzle to check opening pressure but diesel tech told me they still operate ok 200 psi either side but it's a cheap test.. It is recommended to replace copper & or insulating washer under injector. Instructions in w/shop manual if you have one

A failed injector is most usually a result of some other problem, ie dirty fuel, water intrusion, etc, so make sure that all else is proper before putting off into the sunset.
