2GM20, running at low 2K's and the occasional >3K RPM, 1 liter / hour.

Re: Gallons per Hour Discussion

Yanmar 4JH3-TE (76hp turbo diesel) My 1.0 GPH point is 2,800 RPMS, which puts me at about 85% of hull speed. I use 1.25 GPH for planning purposes, assuming occasional use of Webasto diesel furnace, but this has always turned out to be conservative.

Re: Gallons / Hour Discussion

I have the same motors as Bash with the same rpm's and same fuel consumption. At 2800 rpm with one motor, speed is 6.5 kt's. With two motors, same rpm, speed is 8 kt's. Full 3400 rpm with both motors top speed is 9 kt's. Boat is 39 tons.
