Gearbox Mechanic in Singapore

Can anyone recommend a competent mechanic who can fix a Volvo Penta MS2B gearbox? I am currently in Singapore and not having any luck with the official Volvo Penta service guys: ASRI refused to deal with this model; EELAT haven't got back to me; and Volmag seem to have closed down.

You might try a phone call to Scott Walker at "North American Diesel services" +65 8338 5133. He is more into superyachts and Lugger engines but might be able to recommend a local mechanic. There is a very good mechanic in Langkawi called Robbie Andersen on +60 195058393. That's not an easy gearbox to get parts for if it's in bad shape ....or does it just need seals and minor work?

Thanks @skipperpete. i think i might have found someone. he is currently looking into the parts situation for this gearbox. i will post an update when i have better information. Dave.
