Help

I have issues with my fuel lines and overflow of one of my tank ( tanks are interconnected )
I did shut off the connection valves but my stb tank keeps filling up despite this
even worse when I use the genset

Anybody know a good mechanic in Georgetown Bahamas
Thanks
Vincent

Re: Help

You need to open back up the cross-connect valves. It sounds like the return lines (at least from the generator) go into your starboard tank. If this only just started happening recently and before you shut the cross connect, then I would suspect your cross connect line is blocked.

Seems as if the starboard tank is sucking out the fuel from the port tank. The breather is also full of fuel.

We tried to only use the starboard engine to consume the fuel with it keeps on overflowing. The fuel transfer pump is also set to off

Anyone else had a similar issue?

Thanks !
