Help! Looking for part for volvo md3b parts

hi everyone, looking for a part for the md3b, water intake housing, photo shows fitting , any ideas? cheers, chris

Can't see the image. If you meant the external part then it is generic. If you buy from Volvo, you pay an extra for a generic part.

Looked all thru my MD3 parts book and I don't see anything on the engine called a "water intake housing". If you are referring to the thru hull fitting and its sea cock, then barnakiel's advice is good and you should source it locally. If it's a Volvo part, give us a part number....

Look at the picture or thereabout.

On an older machine you may be out of luck if it is anything fitted on the engine: many parts are out of stock. But they all can be machined by any decent mechanic.
