I tried installing a remote filter system from Perma Cool on a Yanmar. The piece that goes on the engine has a rubber o-ring...it barely makes full contact on the engine surface and blew out twice.

Haven't found an alternative.

As for the gougers.......it aggravates the %%%% out of me when they charge astronomical prices for "reconditioned" parts.
