Hose size question

The uninstalled hose going from seacock to sea water pump is a bit to big. I found this schmatic telling the size but not sure of my interpretation so advice is appreciated. The way I read the second photo link it tells me to look at illustration A in 1st link photo. I understand that I need a hose with and id of .67 . Is this in inches? It appears to be.

My guess is that the hose size is metric and that you are looking at an in-equivalent that is not quite right (perhaps 3/4-inch ID). Common.
