No, you got a meter that only does AC amps, not DC. I recommend to just ask one of your electronics hobby friends to do this for you

Sorry Jedi, I wasn't very clear. I meant my meter read 0 when I had isolated the battery at the switch. I'm thinking my amp clamp might not be high enough quality to see if there is a very low draw. Perhaps on my amp clamp 0.1 amps reads as 0.0 amps? That's why I was thinking of using a higher quality one.

If you have a 'poor quality' clamp meter it almost certainly will not measure DC current.

I second the suggestion to check connections first, starting with engine ground.
