Idea for anode location 130S

Hi all,
Have V/P 130 S saildrive. It loves to a throw off the big strut anode.

Has anyone taken a flat plate of zinc and literally wrapped it around the strut, bolting at the trailing edge?

Have just installed a new through hull for raw water, keeping the strut raw water pickup. They operate in tandem. Only did the port side this time. Will do a write up on what I did, when I get home and have a chance to compare to see if any improvement.
This frees up the 6 inlet ports in the leg to through bolt the wrap around zinc if necessary.

Just wondering.
