Is a Parsun F9.8 a Good Motor?

I've been suggested by my seller to buy a Parson F9.8 for 1800 euro to low a bit the price of the boat: Parsun

Is it a reliable motor? Is it far away in terms of quality from most famous brands such as Yamaha or Honda?

Thanks
Patrick

Tohatsu are sometimes said to be Nissan.

I find Parsun and Selva outboards do not have a great name.

My first take would be a Yamaha or a Tohatsu, then all the big names: Honda, Merc, Suzuki, etc.

We used to have a Johnson and that was VERY BAD (3.5 hp., built around 1995?)
