Issue Installing Prop on 120s Volvo Saildrive

When we took delivery of our Pretorien, the prop was removed. I tried to reinstall it this weekend, without success. I have on the shaft:

1. Zinc, bolted onto the drive
2. Line cutter
3. Prop
4. thin plastic washer
5 cone
6 bolt into end of cone

The trouble is that there is about 3/16 ish too much slack in the "Stack" I noticed a washer in the parts manual diagram - perhaps that is the missing link? Can anyone with one of these saildrives (Or two, I'll listen to multihull owners too!!!) help me figure it out?

Chris

PS - Yes, I can call the P.O. but I am trying to do that for the stumpers, so I don't wear out my welcome.

Are you saying that with everything installed and tightened up, the prop still moves back and forth on the spindle?

If the prop has been re-hubbed, there is a washer (Bronze) that may be missing,,,
