Leaking injector

Is it hard to fix a leaking fuel injector. Very small leak around the nut. When I bought the boat it looked like the prior owner wrapped it with something. That was 8 years ago, it has been running fine all along. I actually forgot about it until I had a guy on board fixing another problem and he pointed it out.

What can be used to rap around the nut nail I get it serviced?

You might get better feedback if you tell us the engine model you have.

It's hard to offer a good guess without a little more info. Are you talking about the actual fuel line nut on the top of the injector? That would be a good advertisement for Teflon tape if that's what's on there.
