Lycoming marine engine

This question probably should be asked elsewhere but I don't know where. I have a old Lycoming 4 cyl that I would like to sell but I don't know where to get any information about selling it. Ebay has add for them but no parts or engines. Is there a market for a very old junk engine?

Good luck!!

Irwinsailor,

I just joined this forum and saw your post for a Lycoming engine. I realize it is an extreme long shot, but does that engine still exist?

Thank you,
Bill White

Re: Lycoming marine engine

I had no idea, personally. Was it gas or diesel? Was it transplanted from a Cessna?

Re: Lycoming marine engine

I once owned a 1936 Mullins steel boat with a Lycoming marine engine ( it was Gasoline). An antique boat restorer may be interested in the engine if the op still has it given the date of the original posting.
