Need Info on Westerbeke Block

We are in Great Harbour Cay with a 35B Westerbeke engine that broke down on the way over. We are trying to find out whose block westerbeke used for this so we can find parts easier. A number I found on the block is 25893L6 but no one recognizes this number. If anyone can help this would be great, and if you can identify it how do you know this is it? Because it is Christmas week westerbeke is closed and won't be reopening until after the New Year so are trying to find someone that might have lots of parts in stock. Thanks for any help

I'm pretty sure the engines Westerbeke sells under their own name are Mitsubishis (the ones they sell as Universals are Kubotas).

Also believe Vetus Diesels are Mitsubishis--so another place to look.

Depending if it's an old engine, it could be a Perkin's also.
