New Engine Electronics

Anyone have issues with the electrical components on a new diesel while offshore?

Re: New Engine Electronics

As a former fisherman, either a diesel is 100% reliable or it's unreliable. Salt water and electronics don't do well together. Electronic controlled engines are better now but no way 100% reliable. My diesel PU is a PIA.
On my boats I use mechanical diesels.
