Noisy clutch plate in Universal 25 MXPB

I had my clutch plate reconditioned about 150 hours ago. Now it’s rattling again. What harm can a rattling clutch plate do? I have a Hurth 150 transmission.

I was told that the springs get streatched and that causes the rattling. I am not seeing any other issues.

Please let me know about this.

They call that part as a drive plate or damper plate. its not part of a clutch.

The Universal part # is 299156 The ZF part number is 3306316001

It's a small spring type drive plate, as big as the palm of your hand, and cost damn near $1,000.00 . Ridiculous.

Alto may have a cheaper replacement but, in the past, I had problems making them fit. So beware of that.

Spring type plates are pretty crappy. The springs compress and they get noisy. The noise increases and then they fall apart. (as far as I know) there is not another option.
