Oil for Universal 5411

Engine was rebuilt two years ago and lkooking at Shell Rotella oil which is ither 5-40 or 15 w 40. Original manual suggest conventional 30 weight oil.

Anyone have an opinion of running synthetic? Brands?

If you have an engine that the makers recommended a Rotela oil for it DO NOT use a Synthetic oil in it you could Seize it up the best oil to use is Shell Rimula X and add Molyslip 2000e at 5% by volume. Regards Pete
