Overhauled Yanmar 2GM20,s ?

Hi all
I am currently looking at a FP Tobago, the original 1996 engines are Yanmar 2GM20,s. Last year, Both engines were overhauled, cylinders bored out, honed, new pistons, new seals, cylinder heads planned, new valves by the previous owner.
Assuming I look after them with regular oil and impeller changes, should I get another 10 years out of them ?

Depends on the hours you intend to use each year.
Also on the quality of the rebuild. Are there any receipts for the work done?
If the rebuild was done properly & you are looking at say 300 hrs a year usage you should easily get 10 years out of it.
Beware I've seen examples of people who claim it's fully rebuilt but that's not true.
