Paragon p45

Hello! My question is.. can I replace my paragon p45 with a p44? I know the ratio on the p45 is 3:1 and the p44 is 2.50:1 I’m just having difficulty locating a p45L but the p44’s seem to be more available. I have twin ford 427’s. I would be replacing both as a set not just one.
