Perkins 6.3544 Raw Water Pump

Anyone have a Perkins 6.3544 engine and know the manufacturer and part number of their water pump">raw water pump?

I have spent several hours today on the phone with vendors on both coasts and there is still no agreement on what the pump is.

You need to establish what type of raw water pump (see attachment) you have on your particular Perkins, there have been so many changes over the years and Perkins have even stopped supplying parts for the older units.
Luckily Jabsco make an equivalent for my model year Perkins 6.354.
the 12001 type fits mine....best of luck the Perkins distributors are not exactly helpful in my neck of the woods, so I feel your frustration.

If you have the pump with the letter"G" (i think) cast in the side you may be out of luck. Discontinued. There are replacements.
