Perkins Prima / Volvo MD22 Timing

Hi there.
I have a small problem with my perkins prima 50 (or Volvo MD22). The engine is rattling in idle only (shakes excessively).In all other states it works fine.
I tried changing the timing (retard) a little by rotating the high pressure fuel pump with no significant inprovement.
I ll check the timing but I need the timing pins as mentioned in the service manual .

Any idea about the dimension so I can fabricate them?

I am also planning to measure the plunger lift in the fuel pump .

what about just checking to see if the idle has slipped too low?

Don't mess with the timing........this isn't a gas engine.

The idle is fine .I need to rev above 1000rpm for the engine to run smooth.
Then everything is fine.
Works perfect, no smoke and even start up is without any problems.

A sticky injector or injectors?
If timing was off you would be having problems under load.
