Perkins Sabre 220hp engine hot water take-off points question

Hello there, Perkins gurus,

We are nestling in Camden Haven in the face of a strong wind warning in our passage from Manly, Brisbane, to Greenwell Point. So, maintenance time.

The engine in question is an M215C (the 220 h.p. turbo version), and I'd like to know the recommended take-off points for engine coolant (to run to a water heater, and return).

My question is, where are the best points to tap off for this purpose? I can take ad load any required images tomorrow. TIA, Kit

Don’t know the answer for you, but most frequently this info is found on the installation drawings for the engine, so that is where I would look.

In general, the hot water outlet to the heater is on or near the thermostat housing, and the return is on the suction side of the circulation pump.

Thanks everyone; appreciated. Still don't know how to pronounce "calorifier" though! And I did find it in the Installation manual. Sincere thanks. We are pulling into Port Hacking now, in transit from Brisbane to Greenwell Point, and we will refuel here.
