Phasor Genset Fuel Limiter Adjustment

A friend recently removed the fuel limiter on his LP1 Kubota Genset. It is an EA300 model. The service manual describes its function, but not how to adjust it. The internal spring tension adjustment was not moved, but after loosening the lock nut the main body was unthreaded without a reference mark. Anyone know how to adjust this fuel limiter?

Thanks,
Mike

Re: Phasor Genset Fuel Limiter Adjustment

G'day
Given the prime mover tops out at 2,800 RPM your alternator would be a 4 pole set, meaning it has to be run at 1,800 RPM to produce 60 Hz or at 1,500 RPM for 50Hz . You will need Hertz meter in circuit to achieve this. A very accurate Tacho not readily available can also be used but not recommended when electric motors or electronic are involved.
