Hi Charlie , how can I tell if I’ve broken the shaft of my QL 900 thruster on my elan 434 ?

Hi,
I too have a Silverton 38 Convertible and have a broken shaft. I’m wondering if anyone here can guide me to where I might be able to find one or repair it.
Any help is welcome!
