Rebuilding an old perkins 6.354

Hi All
does anyone know if the old (1978) Perking 6.354 has removable sleeves ? I have rebuilt many engines and up till now they all were rebore to OS or 2 stroke. I have seen on the net many rebuild kits for the 6.354 with sleeves. This would enable me to rebuild on the boat. I would like to order a kit but need to know if one is available for my engine or not before stripping it. Engine number is TC20651U530241E
Any help would be good thanks.
PS do they require pushing out or can you just tap them out ?

I rebuilt a couple of 4 cyl. Perkins out of JCB backhoes a few years ago & they had liners. I would bet the 6.354 will to.

They are definetly sleeved. You can buy the entire rebuild kit from perkins in england but you will have to contact them first and see if they can provide a "build list number" if you don't have it in your documentation. They will probably be able to do that from your serial number. The serial number is just a block number, the build list number provides all the details, turbo or not, three rings or five rings etc.

These engines were built in so many configurations the "build list number" is a must. if you are really lucky you'll have a 5 ring version good for about 20,000hrs. before rebuild if properly maintained.
