Replacing Diaphragms in Yanmar SD20 Saildrives

There are discussions in other threads as to when or whether these diaphragms should be replaced. Here is an attachment depicting how I succeeded in replacing mine on a Tobago 35. Please note I had the operating, service, and parts manuals, but they do not tell the complete story...

Re: Replacing Diaphragms in Yanmar SD20 Saildrives

Thanks SonoSailor! Any new lessons learned or updates on the diaphragm? Also, what was the reason for the replacement...did you have cracks or water intrusion? We have a SD20 and want to learn. In gratitude, FdM
