Sabb 2JRG 30 HP - good or bad
Hi
I'm considering buying a boat with an original equipment 30 HP Sabb engine. This is a 2 cylinder odd-ball diesel with an optional hand crank to start. It is supposed to run well. I am wondering what the reputation for these engines is. Prop is 20 inches 16 pitch. Boat is 45 ft long steel hull.

Excellent motors, that is not to say this particular one is in pristine condition..
