Scanmarr 33/35 with Shaft Drive

My 33 is getting towards repower time. Mine has a Volvo saildrive system, but I understand some of these boats exported to US have straight shaft drive. Saildrive lifecycle cost is excessive in my opinion. So I am looking at the option of converting.
If I do the GRP work myself I reckon the re-equipment cost will be less.
Any photos, drawings welcomed to enable me to assess possibility of saildrive to straight shaft conversion. Particularly keen to see engine height and slope, impact on fuel tank etc.

Looks like there are few if any Scanmar owners on this forum. Anybody out there who has done a saildrive to straight-shaft conversion on any other sailboat type?

If both versions of the hull are identical it should be doable.
