Stiff Outboard Swivel

I have a 75 hp mercury outboard that is frozen in the shaft that the powerhead turns on from the mounting bracket, any know of a fix ?

Heat grease and working it back and forth. Once it's freed up inspect the tube and make sure it's not craked or rusted through. Use a mirror to see inside of tube. They be a pita to free up Good luck

when you grease the zerk the grease comes out the bottom but not the top. I have applied heat and got partial loosening but still no grease out of top. thanksfor the come back

You can drill tap and install a zerk fitting closer to top to attempt to get more grease at the top of the swivel bracket
