Teleflex SL-3 Double Lever Top Mount Dual Action Mechanical Engine Control Service Ma

Hi,

I am doing some repairs on my engine installation and need the service manual to be able to dismantle the:

Twinflex
SL-3
Top Mount
Dual Lever
Dual Action

Engine controls.
Specifically as to how to remove the Housing without destroying it.

I am not after a sales flyer or marketing overview.
I need the service or installation manual.

If any one could post a link or sent it by mail, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Len, unfortunately it doesn't. My issue is rather simple (for now). I can't get the black plastic top cover off. Tried pushing it to release or priing with a screwdriver. Did not work :-(

According to the installation manual you have to put the levers in either forward or reverse and then 'remove the cover'. Since it doesn't specify anything else, I assume your screwdriver approach is appropriate, if there are no visible fasteners. If its' cold where you're at, heating the plastic beforehand with a hair dryer or something might be prudent and then gingerly prying...

Looks like this document is all that exists. Seems there is nothing specific for the dual lever around.
I'll try the levers forward tomorrow morning. Its too wet outside now.

To remove the cover one needs to carefully pri outward with a wide screwdriver to release the hooks to each side of it.
