Teleflex Throttle Cable Vibration Issue

We have the Yanmar 4JH3E engine with Teleflex throttle and gearshift assembly. At higher RPM, particularly over 2100, the engine speed will drop over time as the engine vibrations cause the throttle to drop back slowly. The quickie solution is to stick a wet sponge between the throttle lever and the cockpit side to hold it still. There has to be a better way! I've looked at both ends of the throttle cable and haven't seen any obvious way to tighten it up a bit.

Most Teleflex and other brand throttle controls have a friction adjustment screw or nut.
