Transmission fix
Age retired me from cruising, but wanted to pass on a tip that saved my butt.
The front seal on my Velvet Drive transmission leaked bad and I lost all propulsion. Luckily I hadn't left for no parts available land.
I'm not a believer of snake oil, but wasn't in the mood to take engine and trans out to fix. Bought a container of Lucas trans stop leak, and poured in with new fluid.
Stopped leak. Still didn't leak 4 years later when I sold her.
It's worth it keeping some aboard.
