Vetus M3 Diesel motor starter problems

Is anyone there familiar with this engine? I need to know if there is a manual start button on the solenoid, which sits on top of the starter motor. (People familiar with 1960-70 Leyland cars will remember a little rubber cap on their starter solenoid, which when manually pushed allows current to flow to the starter motor.) I have an intermittent problem in that my Vetus (ignition) switch fails to activate the solenoid. Now I know what to do about that but want a back up procedure in case I get caught out when my boat is out at sea. To avoid me having to grovel in my tiny little engine bay, can someone tell me if there is such a switch on the Vetus solenoid? Thanks. Peter
