"useful life 10y-1000h" - !!!

In terms of emissions compliance without adjustment or service to the injectors, yes. It should last much longer than that.

yes some engines but before 2010 different emission laws in EU 2500 hour
overhaul 2500 hour in garbage 5000 hours.
real-world overhaul 8000-15000 hours.

Solution cut wire of engine hour meter. But after all inspection body buy equipment for testing emission gas, buy new engine 3000-4000€

No before,2010 this engine have certificate only for 5000 hour (with overhoul 2500 hour. and 5000 hour engine is for recycling

The tag, as it says at the top, is for "EMISSION CONTROL INFORMATION", and means nothing at all about the useful service life of the engine, which will depend on the use and care it's given. The engne is based on the 400 series Perkins, which are very good, and 10000 hrs should be expected, given reasonable care and use...

With normal maintenance 10k easily change oil at 100hrs or twice a year filters every second oil change ,cleaning heat exchangers ,oil coolers ,exhaust elbows as required ,all the part of maintenance,look after her and she will look after you ,it’s that simple,..⛵️⚓️
